The boar bristles distribute natural oils, while the semi-flexible pins are designed for light and gentle detangling. This "mixed quill" bristle combination is the perfect mix for smoothing, styling, and lightly detangling a range of hair types and textures, and is especially helpful for toddlers and younger children, who tend to have finer hair, more sensitive scalps, and less natural oil
• Excellent for dry use. Styling and smoothing is where this brush really shines. The brush can also be used wet, though if your child has thicker and fuller hair, the brush may be too gentle for wet detangling (in this case, we would also suggest trying out our Toddler Detangler Brush)
