Soft Play Building Blocks

Toddlers love to build something, knock it over, and build it all over again. It is one of the ways they work out how the world fits together, from balance and gravity to cause and effect. Our Soft Play Building Blocks are made for exactly this type of early play. These big, soft cubes are easy for small hands to grab, carry and stack, and they are gentle when a tower comes tumbling down, which is half the fun.

Little builders keep coming back to them because they can be whatever the day calls for. Toddlers start with making (or knocking down) simple towers, pyramids, and caterpillars. Bigger kids use them as they dream up more complex creations, from robots to castles.

Features include:

• Big and easy to handle: Each block is a 14cm cube, a size that is simple for little hands to pick up, carry and stack
• Open ended play: Kids keep coming back because there is no one way to use them. Build towers, walls, arches, or whatever they dream up
• Grows with your child: Great for toddlers learning to stack, and still used by pre-primary kids who are ready for bigger and more creative builds
• Supports early development: Stacking, balancing and building help develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and spatial awareness, and give little ones plenty of fodder for interaction as they play
• Soft play for indoor fun: Soft blocks mean towers can topple without tears or damage, so toddlers can keep experimenting
• Faux leather: Premium faux leather outer and lightweight foam inner
• Zipper free: No zips means no little fingers trying to open the blocks up
• Easy to clean: Wipe with a little dishwashing liquid and water. The material has moderate water resistance, so everyday indoor spills are no problem
• Stitched in South Africa: Made locally, one block at a time
• 6 piece set in two colour options: Pastels (sage, salmon, bubblegum, chambray, lavender and teal) or rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple)
• A great gift: A set that works for a first or second birthday, yet still gets played with years later

Because our blocks are made by hand here in South Africa, you may notice minor differences in stitching from one block to the next.

These blocks are designed for indoor use. They have moderate water resistance for spills, but they are not all-weather and should not be used outdoors. As with all toys, we recommend adult supervision during play.

Dimensions: 14.5 x 14.5 x 14.5 cm per block. 6 blocks per set.

We are a family run business and we care. If you have any questions about the blocks, or want help choosing between the pastel and rainbow sets, please get in touch.
